Introduction

Dear Parents/Carers

The purpose of this prospectus is to give an outline of how Coln House School works for you and your child as well as informing you of what you can expect during their involvement with the school.

We aim to provide at all times a stable, structured and caring environment, and, to this end, the organisation and ongoing evaluation of every aspect of a child’s experience is carefully thought out. We can only detail here a small part of what goes on at Coln House, which is an ever changing working environment.

Parents are free to contact at any time the school regarding any matter that may concern them. If you have any thoughts, ideas or contributions you would like to make, please do not hesitate to contact the school. All policy documents, in their full version, are available in school for you to view at any time.
Although all information is accurate at the time of printing, some items will ‘date’ as staff or policy changes occur. This is especially so, due to the many new initiatives presently affecting the whole of education in this country.
